The Minister of Economy and Trade is following up on preparations for organizing a symposium entitled “Stopped Projects in Libya, Reality and Challenges”.

The Minister of Economy and Trade, Mr. Mohamed Al-Hawij, met this morning, Monday, June 12, 2023, at the Ministry’s office, with the preparatory committee for the symposium to be organized on stalled projects in Libya, reality and challenges, under the slogan “Insurance is a pillar of the national economy,” with the support of the Insurance Supervisory Authority and under the auspices of the Misrata Free Zone, in the presence of the Director General To the Insurance Supervisory Authority, Mr. Ahmed El-Deeb, the advisor to the minister, Ms. Shather Al-Said, the advisor to the Insurance Supervisory Authority, Mr. Ragab Khalil, and the director of the internal trade department in the ministry, Mr. Mustafa Qadara.

Where the Preparatory Committee reviewed the current arrangements for organizing the symposium on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 AD at the Corinthia Hotel, during which scientific papers will be presented on economic opportunities and the activity of the Public Authority for Investment Promotion and Privatization Affairs of the Ministry in listing stalled investment projects, and the importance of developing the insurance sector to encourage foreign companies to resume work. in the country of Libya.
